I hope this finds you and your loved ones well. As we all know, COVID-19 has forced organizations to quickly adapt to employees working remotely from home. We know this is true for research and design teams as well. It has forced changes in work flows, communication, and available methodologies (like not having walls of post-it notes or in-person interviews)!
Though we may be limited in what we can do to support the public in this time of high anxiety and concern, we are committed to empowering researchers and helping make them successful any way we can.
One of our core company values is “We are all in this together to do the right thing…” So with that, we want to try and help in three ways:
- To better support freelance and independent researchers, we will make all Solo accounts in Handrail free. Those accounts will remain free for good, so don’t worry about getting data in Handrail and then having to pay us. If you are an existing Solo annual customer, we will give you a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the year. If you want to get started you can create an account.
- To help teams collaborate remotely, we are increasing the number of users to unlimited for all standard Team accounts until Sept 30th, 2020. This will hopefully give remote teams of any size the ability to take notes together, analyze as a team, and find/share insights during this time of forced remote working. Contact us if you’d like to get your team setup. If you are an existing customer, you can add as many collaborators and read-only accounts as needed.
- And finally, to help untangle the “new norm” teams are experiencing, we’d like to offer an hour of free consulting to review your current situation and offer advice on how to get your arms around your ResearchOps. No strings attached, we are here and happy to help. Schedule an appointment if you want to chat.
We will also continue to support all the conferences we had planned to sponsor and attend. Although many will now be remote, we are working with the organizers to help make them the best events possible for everyone.
Please take care and as always, stay calm and research on!
